About the Blogger

HAVING LAUNCHED SOME MONTHS ago a blog entitled “Right End of the Telescope,” I’ve now taken the plunge into the blogosphere and learned a little along the way.

My name is Ken McFarland, and “Right End” is directed primarily—though certainly not exclusively—toward members and friends of the Seventh-day Adventist Church in which I grew up and was educated. My intent for that first blog has been to speak not just to Adventists but to Christians of all faiths—and those who claim no faith at all. My intent also is not just to “speak to” but to “hear from.”

This new blog is a more personal and devotional one—and will focus on my own pursuit of God, who He is, and what He is like. It’s intended perhaps most of all for fellow seekers, but also for anyone at all who happens by.

The Internet and the blogosphere within it provide new ways of communicating. Anyone can speak…can share….can “publish” their thoughts for others to read. Whether you blog or not, you have thoughts and opinions—and I’d very much enjoy learning from you.

Above each post is the word “Comments” (or the words “No Comments,” if no one has yet posted a reply). Click there—and let me hear your ideas, your thoughts and opinions. My hope is that we can all learn from each other.

It’s great to “meet you” here in the blogosphere. I, too, welcome the discussion and look forward to learning and sharing along the way.
